How we handle your information
This notice explains what happens to the information you send us through banksideco.com.
What we collect and why

This notice is a working draft prepared for the launch of this website. It has not yet been through legal review and will be replaced before the site goes live.
Bankside & Co. is a restaurant, bar, coffee lounge and private event venue at 9 Lichfield Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1EA, United Kingdom.
If you have a question about this notice or about the information we hold about you, contact us at info@banksideco.com or call 01902 475 351.
We collect the information you choose to type into a form on this website. Depending on which form you use that may include your name, your email address, your telephone number, a preferred date and time, the number of guests, the type of event, and any message or notes you add.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website, and we do not ask you to create an account.
Your web browser also sends ordinary technical information with every request — for example your IP address and which pages you requested. This is used to operate and secure the website.
We use the information in an enquiry to reply to that enquiry: to answer a question, to discuss a private hire booking, or to arrange a visit.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you news, announcements and offers about the venue. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Table reservations on this website are handled by our reservation provider, not by this website. When you use the booking area you are interacting with that provider, and the information you enter is processed under their terms and their privacy notice.
We receive the booking details we need to prepare for your visit.
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of our dealings with you, and no longer than necessary.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to object to how we are using it, and to ask us to restrict our use of it.
To exercise any of those rights, contact us at info@banksideco.com.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
We will update this notice when our practices change, or when the full reviewed version replaces this draft. The current version is always the one published on this page.
